A stark warning is emerging as misinformation spreads about Israel and America, especially as antisemitism has risen in recent years. Much of this disinformation, according to world leaders, is fueled by foreign influence and ignorance on the ground.
“There’s this false narrative going out… particularly through the fake news,” Paula White-Cain warned in an interview with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. She described protests she personally witnessed in U.S. cities: “I would see these protesters that were against America, against Israel… I tried to go up and sometimes speak to a few of them. They had no idea—not a clue what they were even quote unquote protesting. I started thinking, ‘they’re being paid.'”

She added, “It wasn’t nearly as big as the media would make it look. It was a very small handful of people.”
As the discussion turned to foreign players, Iran and Qatar were called out as key funders of anti-Israel activity. “Iran has been sponsoring this,” Netanyahu said. “But Qatar has to choose… You can’t fund the arsonist and the firefighters at the same time. You can’t do that. So you have to choose. Which side are you on?”
The two emphasized the need for the profound bond that exists between the U.S. and Israel. “I think America has no greater friend than Israel, no greater ally,” Netanyahu said. “And Israel doesn’t have a greater ally than the United States. And most of the American people understand that.”
While some worry about younger generations drifting from this understanding, there’s encouragement to be found. “People think that everything that trends… will continue indefinitely,” says Netanyahu.
However, when it comes to the survival of the nation of Israel, Netanyahu notes that the next generation still proudly fights for the country with boldness and courage. “…they fought and fight like lions. Like lions. The Bible says they shall rise like lions—and they did and they do.”
